The terms and conditions for use of Blue Wing Gallery’s website are detailed below and should be read carefully as they govern your use of the site. By using and placing an order on the website you are agreeing to accept these terms and conditions. We may vary these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and, therefore, you should check them before you make a new purchase.

ONLINE SHOPPING:

We have taken care in presenting the products on our website as accurately as possible. The images you see will depend on your monitor's display and colour capabilities. We are, therefore, unable to guarantee that the product images you see are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise.

All prices on the site are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP). Despite our best efforts, items in our online store may occasionally be mispriced. If this occurs, we will contact you for instructions before despatch.

All goods must be paid in full before shipping.

We sometimes offer one off items for sale on our website as well as items where we only hold 1 item in stock which will not be replaced when sold. We aim to make daily updates on items in stock at all times but due to the very nature of our product range being unique or hand-made, it is inevitable that there will be breaks in supply. We offer the products on a “first come, first served” basis. On rare occasions stock levels may be incorrect, for example if another order occurs just before you have placed yours, in which case you will be contacted.

Where an item is marked as a ‘Sale’ price, the original price will have applied for a minimum period of 28 consecutive days (online or in store).

The advertising of products on this site is an 'invitation to treat'. Your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Blue Wing Gallery, so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive the 'confirmation of despatch' email sent once your order has been successfully picked and we can confirm stock levels have been checked.

If we are unable to supply the goods in time we will contact you to inform you regarding your order. We cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of late delivery or cancellation of your order.

We will not accept your order if:

  • we do not have the goods in stock
  • your payment is not authorised
  • fraudulent use of card information or identity is suspected
  • there is a pricing discrepancy
  • there is an error regarding the order or other details of the goods
  • you have cancelled your order with us

SECURE PAYMENTS & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

We accept online payment in a secure environment with Visa and Mastercard credit cards, as well as Visa debit cards. It is also possible to pay via PayPal. Blue Wing Gallery uses Opayo (previously known as Sage Pay) to process online payments. Opayo is a major internet payment service provider that uses secure encryption technology to ensure the safety of your personal data. To securely receive payments over the internet, Opayo use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your personal information and payment details.

We take security seriously and have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. Although we do our best to keep your personal information secure, we cannot however guarantee the security of your information transferred to our site. This website, its content and any contracts arisen out of it are governed by and in accordance with English law. All contracts are conducted in English and by entering into a contract both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We welcome orders from many overseas countries. Local import duties may be payable on receipt. Please note however that this site and its contents do not form an agreement between Blue Wing Gallery and a customer in a jurisdiction in which the products offered for sale would go against any local, regional or national laws. If you know that it would be illegal for us to sell our products in your country, please do not order items from our site.

Blue Wing Gallery cannot guarantee that the sale and delivery of its goods to your particular country or location is allowed, so please take note of any possible import restrictions before placing an order. International deliveries may attract local duties/taxes payable to relevant local authorities. Any such payments will be the responsibility of the customer and are outside of the control of Blue Wing Gallery Limited.

Privacy Statement: At Blue Wing Gallery, we respect and protect the privacy of our customers and other stakeholders. To help us provide the best possible service, we may collect and maintain certain information regarding, for example, your name, address and contact details, the products you purchase, and your billing and delivery information. However, we protect and enforce the confidentiality of this information very strictly, and under no circumstances will we sell or rent it to other businesses or third parties. We respect your privacy and do all we can to honour the trust you place in Blue Wing Gallery. Any personal data gathered by us in your use of this site will be recorded electronically and only used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

What do we use information for? We use the information that we collect for a number of purposes:

  • To better understand the needs of our customers and how we can improve our products and services.
  • To provide information regarding products and services offered by Blue Wing Gallery Limited that may be of interest to you.

Retention and data storage: When we store data, reasonable measures are taken to protect personal information from access by unauthorised persons. This information will be stored, archived and backed up as part of internal systems which are hosted by cloud service providers.

As a principle we do not share any of the personal information that we hold. However in the course of running our business some data does get transferred outside of our organisation:

To process payments the relevant information will be passed to Worldpay,  Opayo, or Paypal.

Aggregate information on the usage of our website will be passed to third parties but this will not include data that can be used to identify a natural person.

Where we do collect personal information this will be stored on the systems of our software cloud service providers in the United Kingdom. We have checked and will continue to check that these providers implement appropriate security measures to protect this data.
